Parental Notification Laws

The state of Georgia requires that patients under the age of 18 notify their parent or legal guardian about their abortion appointment.  There is also a system called a judicial bypass that allows a minor to work with a lawyer to get a court-approved alternative to parental involvement.

Our staff are experts in helping patients access abortion and can make this state required barrier easier for you to manage. If you are under the age of 18, please call us for assistance in making your appointment.
